Icelandic Journey

I visited Iceland at the end of September and beginning of October 2019. It is a truly remarkable destination. There is a narrative here that relates to an issue that is at the very forefront of world at the moment and that is the most important issue of all - climate change. What is happening in Iceland should speak loudly to all of us. The glaciers are melting. Soon these hostile but remarkable places will be gone, and many of the things recorded here will be lost from view. 

This essay asks the viewer to consider how we interact with the world with live in and how much it is worth to us.
